Green Power NDS 12V AGM Auxiliary Battery
 Reference GP140 140A

Green Power NDS AGM batteries are slow discharge auxiliary batteries designed for use in motorhomes, caravans and converted vans.

Recognized for its high quality, this battery has a 40% longer autonomy than most traditional auxiliary batteries . NDS Green Power is the essential caravanning equipment for the motorhome's electrical network.

The NDS brand "Green Power" auxiliary batteries are 12-volt batteries with AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat = microporous glass fiber plate separators) technology with slow discharge of the C20 type . There are several models of NDS Green Power AGM batteries available depending on the battery storage capacity (80Ah, 100Ah, 120Ah, 140Ah) and its size (see table below).

Featuring lead-calcium alloy plates and a fully sealed, one-piece ABS housing, NDS "Green Power" batteries have high power density and very good recovery after deep discharge.

As some spaces may be restricted, the NDS GreenPower cell battery has several sizes to fit into the small battery spaces of motorhomes, caravans, or vans.

AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) batteries are composed of a mixture of lead and acid and have several advantages, the first of which is their sealing . Indeed, unlike certain so-called "flooded" batteries, AGM batteries do not require any special attention regarding their maintenance, they do not emit or lose acid, and are not affected by the regular addition of water, the main disadvantage of flooded batteries .

The second advantage of this type of battery (and not the least) is that the lead plates that compose it associated with fiberglass separators allow these batteries to support rapid recharge and discharge speeds .
 Maintaining an AGM battery

As mentioned above, one of the main advantages of NDS Green Power AGM auxiliary batteries is that they do not require maintenance. However, in use, you will still need to get into the habit of following the few precautions for use listed below in order to optimize the life of an AGM battery :

avoid discharging the battery beyond a maximum voltage of 11V

  • Avoid leaving the battery in a discharged state: never leave the Green Power AGM deep cycle battery discharged after using it.
  • Respect the appropriate recharge level
